I personally love this lighter grade, but I wanted to let you know so you’re aware that these may differ slightly from the thickness of previous items you’ve purchased. In particular, the sand-colored, brown, and red pieces are made from this thinner, extra-light material.
For now, I’ve reduced the price on this design while I determine if future fabric orders will maintain this lighter weight or will be a bit thicker again. I truly enjoy mine and hope you will too! However, please handle them with gentle care, as they are a summer-grade version.
They are stretchy and have button and zipper feature for easy in and out and are such a sweet hybrid between sexy and modest, feminine and tom boyish, practical and flattering. They can be worn long, yet I prefer to tie them up just under the knee to make them the fun, billowing, elven, cargo, bad ass dance pants that they are... I wasn't sure if people would like them as much as I do, yet every time I wear them I get so many compliments. Lightweight, great for travel, work, dance...
Made of cotton poplin with a little lycra to allow you just about all the freedom of movement one could wish for
I have made one small change to this latest rendition. Some of you may remember that I used to make them with a drawstring at the bottom, and then I changed it to an elastic version with a pully. Now, it is the best of both words. The ties are made of the matching poplin, yet the portion you can't see is a soft elastic band within... so you can move them up and down your calves with ease without needing to adjust your tie or fussing with the pully.
It is also noteworthy that the last batch that I sold for less over the course of 2022-2023 was off by a size. So before you re-rder them based on your last order, feel free to consult with me first.

Cool Wear for Hot Days
These pantaloons are a lightweight wear which is great for hot days. They are also easy to string up at any length making it easy to create capris in a pinch. Fabulously made to boot.

Nice fabric and color. The fit is a bit short in the rise for me, so I had to get an XL and deal with a waist that’s too large. Otherwise, nice and functional and cute ~~~~~~~~~ A word from the designer in case new readers are sifting through the reviews: The rise has since been revised, so now there is more room for your curves ;)

Pants loons
Overall I like these... fabric is more stretchy than I imagined, and they are comfortable, fit well, and the elastic bands are fun. I was surprised how dark they are. The brown on my screen... both phone and computer... is quite warm, the pants that arrived are so dark that before I opened the bag I wondered if I was sent black by mistake. I like the lighter brown better, especially because it’s spring… also the detail on the back pocket is even more contrasty with the really dark brown, and I feel like it calls more attention than I’d like. I might try to die it. I’ve been eyeing these for quite a while… I love your clothes… They are well-made and flattering. Thank you for your feed back! I will be doing a new photoshoot of these soon... so by August 2020 I hope to get the color captured better! xox

Great for summer
I bought these one size larger(XL) for the color choice availability. The waist ties make it work for me. I like the new (to me) fasteners for the cuffs to make them 3/4 length. The pants I bought years ago - and still wear - have tie closures. I also like that the material has enough stretch for exercise and dance. Flattering to my figure....so many compliments. :^)

Comfy and stand out!
I get so many compliments on these pants! I got the red ones and now want another color. searching for the next best color! I love how the fabric moves with me. I think the cinched drawstring design at ankle a bit awkward but it could be my own personal challenges to make it work. I really do love them!
