Aiya Fringe Top

The Aiya Fringe top has an airy, feminine, flowing feel, making it perfect for summer days. It pairs beautifully with a bikini top or tank top and can also be layered with any of my dresses and pants. 

Each row of this 100% cotton top is meticulously hand-knit on a manual knitting machine in a small, hole-in-the-wall business in Bali. I adore collaborating with this homegrown business not only because the owner is humorous, sharp, and a total boss, but also because we share a mutual trust and understanding. My Balinese driver is not used to driving Westerners into this kind of neighborhood, but I guess I am just not your typical tourist and find mutual respect and honor in unexpected corners of the universe. It makes me feel like my own kinda 'Shantaram' if you know what I mean...  

Please note that machine washing is not recommended for this garment, as it may cause the tassels to become tangled. Instead, opt for a cool, gentle hand wash or dry cleaning. Although I personally tested it in the washing machine and managed to detangle it with careful patience, I wouldn't advise taking that route unless you have nothing else to do with your day and enjoy detangling tiny knots all day ;) 

In terms of sizing… well, as a taller, curvier person, I actually prefer the S/M, while I think the M/L looks great on a smaller, slimmer frame. So this one really comes down to personal preference!
